Hi friend! I am so glad you’re here. I’m Seanna Hiltner, the CEO and head balloon artist behind North Texas Balloons.
When I started North Texas Balloons, I didn’t just see it as a business—it felt like a calling. My journey here has been a beautiful mix of creativity, family, and a real passion for designing celebrations that feel personal and polished. My husband, Jared, and I work together to make this business happen, and that partnership means so much to me. He is a military veteran and the owner, and after he retired from the military, we moved to North Texas in 2018 and built our life and business here together. While I’ve never served in the military myself, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication, discipline, and heart for service Jared brings—and those values absolutely shape how we care for our clients and show up for every event.
One of the questions I get asked most often by my wonderful clients in Frisco, Plano, and McKinney is: "What’s the difference between classic and organic decor, and which one should I choose?"
It’s such a great question! Choosing the right style can completely change the "vibe" of your celebration. Whether you’re planning a grand opening for a new business or a cozy backyard baby shower, understanding these two styles will help us create something truly photo-ready. Let’s dive into the details together: I can’t wait to help you decide!
When you think of a traditional "celebration," you’re probably picturing classic balloon decor. This style is all about symmetry, patterns, and that crisp, uniform look that signals "something big is happening here!"
Classic decor is built on mathematical precision. We use specific sizing tools to ensure that every single balloon in an arch or column is the exact same diameter. It’s a look that feels very intentional and high-energy. As a designer, I have a deep appreciation for the structure of classic designs—there is a certain beauty in the "ranks" of perfectly sized balloons!
Classic decor, like our Arches and Columns, is fantastic for creating clear boundaries and focal points.

At North Texas Balloons, we often recommend classic styles for outdoor events or large-scale corporate functions. For instance, a pair of custom balloon columns topped with fun foil shapes: like our popular cowgirl boots: can frame an entrance perfectly, giving guests a clear "welcome" signal as soon as they arrive.
Now, let’s talk about my absolute passion: organic balloon garlands. If classic decor is a structured march, organic decor is a beautiful, flowing dance.
The "organic" style is meant to mimic things found in nature: like clouds, flowing water, or cascading vines. Instead of every balloon being the same size, we use a wide variety of diameters, ranging from tiny 5-inch accents to massive 3-foot statement balloons. We also play with textures, tucking in metallic "starbursts," floral accents, or different finishes like matte and chrome.
Organic decor is highly sculptural and artistic. No two designs are ever exactly the same, which means your event will have a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

I love the creative challenge of organic work. It allows me to tap into my artistic side and think about how the colors will catch the light: something I’m always learning more about through my education and industry networking.
Deciding between classic and organic often comes down to the feeling you want to evoke. As a business owner, I always want to make sure the decor serves your specific goals. Here is a quick guide I’ve put together to help you navigate the choice:
One of the most exciting things about our craft is that you don't always have to choose just one! We often create "hybrid" designs that combine the best of both worlds.
For example, we might take a structured, classic frame and accent it with organic clusters. Or, one of our favorite ways to level up an event is by pairing our marquee letter rentals with organic balloon styling. The illuminated, structured letters provide a stunning contrast to the soft, flowing balloons: creating a display that is both impactful and artistic.

I take my role as your decorator very seriously. To me, it’s not just about blowing up balloons: it’s about the safety, longevity, and professional execution of your vision. That’s why I’m constantly investing in my own growth.
I recently had the incredible opportunity to attend the Balloon Boss Thrive Waco Retreat, where I spent time learning from industry mentors and peers. Being part of the Balloon Boss community allows me to stay on top of the latest techniques, from the best ways to secure outdoor arches to new "color-double-stuffing" methods that create those unique, custom hues you see in our gallery.
Whether I'm setting up a cowgirl boot column for a rodeo-themed party or a massive organic wall for a gala, my goal is always the same: a polished, photo-ready event with zero stress for you.

At the end of the day, whether you choose the bold precision of classic decor or the whimsical flow of organic styling, North Texas Balloons is here to bring your vision to life. We serve the entire North Texas region with both full-service experiences and DIY-friendly "Grab and Go" packages.
I feel so lucky that I get to spend my days helping families and businesses in our community mark their most important moments. Your celebrations are the heartbeat of our town, and it is a privilege to be a small part of them.
